Genesius is an event discovery app for people who want to go out but don’t want to dig through six venue Facebook pages, a defunct alt-weekly calendar, and a ticketing site that only lists the shows someone paid to promote.
Live music, comedy, trivia, karaoke, open mics… pulled together, sorted by what’s near you, and updated constantly.
What you can do
- See what’s on tonight, near you. Events sorted by distance so you can tell the difference between “across town” and “around the corner.”
- Browse by what you’re in the mood for. A live show at a pub, a comedy set, trivia at a brewery, a karaoke night, or a full blown concert…
- Follow the performers you like. Bands, comedians, trivia hosts, DJs… see where they’re playing next, often with links out to listen first.
- Save events and build a night out. Favorite what looks good, build and share a custom itinerary, and get a reminder before it starts.
- Discover the small stuff. The neighborhood bar with a bluegrass jam every Tuesday is exactly the kind of thing that never makes a listings site. It makes Genesius.

We’ve started our build in Ohio but the real power is in your hands! The collective knowledge of our users helps everyone stay informed about what’s going on!
For venues and performers
Listing on Genesius costs nothing and if you run a venue or book shows, your events might already be in here. We pull from public sources covering many locations. If something’s wrong, missing, or you’d like to take over how your venue is presented, get in touch and we’ll sort it out.
Anyone can submit an event, venue, or performer directly from the app. Submissions are subject to review and correction by the user community.

Questions, bugs, or something in the app that’s just wrong? Email contact@noblecloudconsulting.com and we’ll get back to you within two business days.
Reporting incorrect event information. Event details change constantly and venues don’t always announce it. If you spot something wrong, use the report option on the event in the app, or email us. Always confirm with the venue before you head out.
Deleting your account. You can delete your account and its data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account inside the app. Deletion is permanent.
Copyright concerns. Our DMCA policy and designated agent are listed in Section 8 of the Terms & Conditions.

About the Name
Genesius of Rome is the patron saint of actors, comedians, musicians, and dancers, which made him the obvious namesake for an app about finding them. (That it sounds a little “genius” is a bonus we’re choosing to accept.)
